do you remember?

I do not know whether you still believe in things you believed in your childhood or not, but I do still remember some of those tales which used to lull me to sleep as a child. Now, everything is changed and even children do not believe in tales we once listened to. Parents and nursemaids do not bother to retell any of those magical fairy tales, also. I do have a confession to make: it was such a long long time that I myself had lost my faith in these stories, and did not give a damn either! Perhaps, there is no living story-teller with an interesting story up her/his sleeve, perhaps, children do not bother to listen to the stories which have lost their vogue among the family circles, but I do believe in something I once believed in, I do believe in all those small things I was brought up with, all those tales and stories which delivered me to a better world when I was a child. Now, here I am; a wearish old woman who has lived the experience of almost one full century. I have nothing more to lose and perhaps nothing to gain, yet today I once again believe in all those words which still have the power to deliver any living soul to a better place, to a higher truth, to a sublime existence...
